Vintage Van Dell Sterling Silver Pin & Sterling Marcasite Rose Pin We will be offering amazing jewelry items from a recent estate auction in PA that featured many antique and vintage pieces of costume and fine jewelry. I will be adding new pieces daily, so please check back to see the new arrivals! ** * We will be listing many vintage pins ** * Beautiful vintage Sterling silver pin or brooch lot. Van Dell Sterling pin with an Amethyst, Ruby or Garnet and a blue Sapphire? I am not sure of the stones composition so please use the photos as your guide. Van Dell Sterling is on the back rim of the pin but very faint, sorry for the blurry photo. The second pin is a beautiful Sterling and Marcasite Rose with a lacy open work frame that can be worn as a pin or pendant. The pin is marked Sterling on the back. Both pins are 1 1/4" in diameter. Total weight for both pieces with stones included is 15 grams. Please make an estimation regarding stone weight as I am unable to.The pins are in excellent vintage condition with wear commensurate with age. The stones have nice brilliance and all are present. The pins work nicely and hold well. There was no attraction on either piece when tested with a magnet...A beautiful pair of vintage Sterling pins and wonderful additions to any collection!
