DGC Rarities: Volume 1 is the name of a rarities album compiled by DGC Records and released in 1994. The songs featured on this album are all B-sides, demos, covers and other rarities. Despite the title, t are no other volumes in the DGC Rarities series...European version of "DGC Rarities Vol. 1" Sonic Youth's contribution is a track called "Compilation Blues", composed specifically for this project during the mixing sessions for Experimental Jet Set, Trash & No Star (same session that birthed "Winner's Blues" and "Razorblade").
