Up for Sale is diecast metal Varney Pennsylvania diesel switcher and Caboose from the 1950s The diesel is custom decorated / decaled for the Pennsylvania Railroad. The engine looks nice but it does have a few scratches on it. I do not see any broken handrails or steps. The engine ran in both directions when I tested it but it needs a lube job. It was making a squeaking sound consistent with needing oil. This engine has been on display for many years. The engine has some old-school Kadee couplers with metal cover plates. Overall, this is a high quality vintage diesel that has lots of added on details. The unmarked caboose is very nice. T are no broken steps and the smokestack is intact. I think it is missing some metal handrails. I will be listing several lots of Varney trains over the next couple of weeks. I have about 20 engines and a couple hundred freight cars. Shipping is by priority mail and I think $7.00 will cover it. Any more and I'll cover it. If the shipping is less than $7.00, I will refund any difference greater than $1.00. I also gladly combine shipping if you purchase more than item. Thanks and email me with questions. I normally ship within 48 days after receiving payment. Sold as-is but I do not foresee any problems because of my pictures and description. Please contact me if t is a problem. PLEASE NOTE - I
