The better known one is Krantz, Smith & Company of Honesdale, PA. It can be seen on page 9 of the circa 1900 catalog reprint by the ACGA. The pattern name by them is Wayne and Pitkin & Brooks of Chicago, Illinois also called it Wayne. I can't find a signature so I'm unable to tell which company actually cut this piece since both catalog illustrations look to be identical. AGE: It was surely made in the very early 1900's as the catalog dates help to verify.
