Authenticated Vatican Latin Reliquary 1898 Face Of Jesus printed on a silk or smooth linen fabric with Red Wax Seal and a Signed Latin Document with a Red Wax Seal. The Original is in St. Peter's Basilica, called the Veil of Veronica. The fabric measures 15 inches in height and 11 3/4 inches wide. The Document measures 3 7/8 inches in height and 5 1/2 inches wide. The Roman Numerials are: MDCCCCVIII. I figured it to be1908, but Google's Roman translation was 1898 ? I found this tissue rolled in my Great Aunt's closet, she was born in 1882, and came to the USA from Poland around 1899. The Fabric and Document are in great condition suitable for framing. Edges of fabric are shown against a red placemat so you can see the cut edges. Document has been rolled for about 100 years, so I used some glasses on the corners to take pictures.
