Handwoven extremely rare size with a superior design, both bold and beautiful afghanian serapi with dimensions of 6 '1 x 7 '6. Wool on wool foundation. This rugs beauty lies in its powerful medallion yet simplistic design and wonderful earth tone colors. Dyes are 100% vegetal and natural. The rusat field has a medallion that literally fill the entire field top to bottom and side to side. Within this medallion is very simplistic designs with a fabolous color contrast. Accent colors are ivory, torqouise, navy, light green, light blue, beautiful kilim endings with full fringe and alternating striping on the ends giving it a very finished touch. You can create an entire room around this rug, wonderful focal point. Offered with no reserve. Bid early and often as this is a hard size to come by and an extremely beautiful piece.
