Being offered is this Spectatcular Italian Venetian Glass Vase. Measures Approx: 8 1/2" tall with an opening of 3 1/2". This piece is unmarked but from the Estate of many other marked Venetian Glass Designer, Vintage Pieces. I am selling this for the family of that estate. I am not a venetian glass expert and relying on what the family is telling me about this piece. Purchased by their parents on one of their many travels to Italy. This piece is not new. The family reportedly purchased most of their Italian art glass either in the 1930's or in the 1950's. The colors are Gold with Applied Robins Egg Blue Delicate Glass Handles. More gold is then applied again over the blue for a spectacular, two color, two pattern design. The overall vase has a subtle swirl pattern to the glass, with flecks of gold . The base or stem to this piece is also finished remarkably. The center stem appears to be hollow. T is the subtle swirl pattern, but flecks of gold are swirled into the base or stem. My photos have not done this piece justice. Also a bit dusty from years of setting. I have only slightly wiped off with a dry cloth. NO chips, cracks or repairs. No rough spots. Excellent to Mint condition. The family has suggested a couple of Italian Glass designers that they believe are the maker, but no documentations because this piece is unmarked. Certainly though a vintage designer piece, purchased in Italy! Any glass experts want to email me their thoughts on this piece, we would love to hear from you.
