VENETIAN MILLEFIORI BEADS NECKLACE A fabulous Venetian Murano millefiori glass necklace dating from sometime between the 1930-1950 period. Measuring 18.5" long altogether, each bead is 9mm across being made from jet black glass mounted with three applied roundels of millefiori glass in white with the flower being in indigo, deep russet red and yellow shades, each bead having gilded filigree work end caps and all being individually knotted onto strong black silk. Having a secure gold-tone screw barrel fastener. All being in very good condition, the necklace having been freshly cleaned resulting in the gilded fittings being light bright and sparkling. Lovely elegant colours which would look equally good with a pretty summer dress or would tone very well with the blue of denim.
