But due to each piece being individually made - they each vary slightly. This piece is from a Venini glass collection that I discovered stored in a warehouse - many of the pieces are almost 15 years old! Each piece is new, in the original Venini box and in mint condition . The boxes were sealed with Venini embossed tape which I did cut to inspect the condition and photograph the items. Venini History : All Venini pieces are handmade by the finest artisans, individually signed and dated. The island of Murano, Italy is w the finest Italian glass is made. And, the most important company in this glass collector's world is Venini . It was started by a lawyer from Milan, Paolo Venini in 1925. Venini understood the importance of design to make his products desirable as a quality decorative item. Throughout the years, artist such as Vittorio Zecchin, Gio Ponti, Carlo Scarpa, Fulvio Bianconi and Ettore Sottsass have produced magical pieces of glass art for Venini.
