VERA RUSSELL Originals Ceramic Vase 22K Gold Accent #2 GORGEOUS RUSSELL ORIGINAL Vera Russell's handcast ceramics A PAINTING IN CLAY This artist's bio can be found on the internet. She started as a painter and upon retiring went back to painting, but for a time was a wholesale potterer. Each of her Originals is individually designed and painted using unique glazes that reflect the colors and textures of the Southwest. Each piece is accented with 22 karat gold. This piece (and another we have listed) were purchased in the 90's in Arizona. Each piece cost over $300. This piece is signed and dated 1987. Two figures, flora, and beautiful shades of blue make this stand out. Slightly smaller than the other one we have listed, this is 14 1/2" high and 14 12" across, this is not a deep vase and would sit on a narrow ledge (about 2 1/2" deep). Opening at the top.
