You are bidding on a USAF Republic FH-105 Thunderchief Factory Desk Model. This model was handcrafted by Mathys M Verkuyl of Holland, recognized as one of history's greatest makers of metal model aircraft. I have been told that Verkuyl only made a small number of F-105's for Republic making this a very rare model. This model is Aluminum/Metal and made in the Large 1:50 Scale. The model measures 16 inches long with a 9 inch wingspan. Very hard to come by in any condition, this model is in good shape. The model has the rare squadron decals on the tail and nose and still has the Verkuyl logo on the rear tail. This model is very unique and would make a nice addition to any Vintage Model Collection.
