New in Box Vermont Teddy Bear Co. Crazy For You Bear Everything listed below is the Original stuff that came with the bear. - Box with Air Hole. (The flaps on top are a little creased from being opened and closed not more than 10 times.) - 15" high, jointed Crazy for You Bear - White strait jacket with embroidered red heart - Tag with Commitment Papers stating, "Commitment Report - Can't Eat, Can't Sleep, My Heart's Racing - Diagnosis: Crazy For You!" - Chocolates (I do not recommend eating them since they are 5 yrs old :) This bear was released for Valentine's Day 2005 but then discontinued after mental health groups labeled it as offensive. Vermont Teddy Bear Company (VTB) responded that the bear's name was just a light-hearted play on the phrase "I'm crazy about you". VTB ceased production and sold off the remainder of the bear's in stock. The original price was $69.95. After the bears sold out, which happened after the controversy hit the news, these bears began to sell for hundreds of dollars on eBay. I bought this bear in the midst of that craze. He has been safely tucked away ever since in hopes of letting him accrue value since he is a collector's item. I am selling him (and a few of my other treasures) in order to restore my motorcycle.
