Verner Panton, published in Denmark, First edition, 1986, 72 pages, softcover, 12" x 12". Text in English. Limited 10,000 numbered copies. This gorgeous book features the work of world renowned Danish designer Verner Panton. His designs will be very familiar to many design enthusiasts, and you will recognize and remember his work when you see it: The orange molded plastic table and chairs on an orange and yellow hand-tied shag carpet from 1967, the geometrical color designs derived from Joseph Albers’ rainbow progressions, the space-age plastic light sculptures and the Varna restaurant in Aarhus, Denmark. A very exciting, richly illustrated catalogue of the sources of Panton’s impact. New: This is a factory brand new book from an old dead stock. This book looks like new and has never been read in. No damage to the cover. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. Please note that this publication is notorious for having a very loose binding and that the pages may come loose after a duration of time (a problem acknowledged by the printer in Denmark when it was released).
