VERNON KILNS ROCKWELL KENT OUR AMERICA PLATE BROWN 9" + Beautiful and quite rare this is a guaranteed Authentic Antique plate from the Our America Series done by Rockwell Kent for Vernon Kilns. The Our America Series features designs from life and cities across America, all the designs were done by Rockwell Kent for Vernon Kilns and the graphics are excellent. T is a definitive Art Deco sense of style in these pieces. This dinnerware was very expensive in it's day and was made to be of museum quality at that time. Because of the expense and the economic realities of the times, it was discontinued shortly after production, making it extremely rare and collectible. This is a scenic plate in the Brown Drawbridge design, wonderful crisp and detailed graphics banded by stars grounded in brown around the rim. This is a large luncheon plate. Condition is excellent, no chips, cracks or problems. Satisfaction guaranteed.
