Pleased to offer this lovely TEXAS plate from Vernon Kilns. Center says "FIFTH DISTRICT, NFMC 1949 DALLAS, Texas Federation of Music Clubs" is in the center of a star and is blue and white. Pictures of different sites in Texas and says around the edge, "Alamo 1718, Shrine of Teax Liberty, San Antonio, Texas, State Capitol, Austin, Texas, Port of Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi Bay discovered by De Pineda Port of Play, King Ranch, Santa Gertrudes Headquarters Home, Kingsville, Texas" and others. On back it says, "Texas, The Lone Star State, Motto Friendship, adopted 1930, State Song Texas our Texas adopted 1929, State Flower, Blue Bonnet adopted 1901, State Tree, Pecan, adopted 1919 and State Bird, Mocking Bird adopted 1919. Arranged and designed by Helen Chandler, Vernon Kilns USA" Measures approx. 8 1/2 inches, In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. I do accept returns but you pay to ship.
