This wonderfully illustrated (by Lloyd Hinks ) complete set of 8 plates from the "Cocktail Hour" series was manufactured by Vernon Kilns in the late 1940's. Each depicts a glamour girl with her favorite drink:1-Pink Lady2-Bacardi3-Old Fashioned4-Whiskey Sour5-Bronx6-Manhattan7-Singapore Sling8-Hot ToddyThey are in very good condition; no chips, cracks or crazing. Each plate measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter. Sepia brown illustration on a cream background. Very special set. Payment is expected within 7 days of auction close. We accept Check or Money Order; allow 7-10 days for personal checks to clear. Shipping includes insurance.
