This lamp is often identified in lighting guides as one of the best examples of slag glass & filigree design of the time. This is a very large lamp, standing 27.5" tall. The piece has been professionally rewired, and is ready for immediate use. The deep conical shade is a full 20" in diameter, and 12" high. It features very wide bent panels w/ bronzed filigree of a landscape with tall trees & woodland meadows. The base (which weighs 25 lbs.) is made of cast iron that has been bronze plated and has interesting scalloped & scrolled designs. This is a well documented lamp, and the base (and finial) is original to the shade. CONDITION The condition of this piece is excellent throughout, with one exception. One of the panels has suffered a heat crack. It is stable, and difficult to see as it is underneath the filigree. It has been properly sealed with bonding glue, and I put a piece of tape at the very end. Also, one of 6 the metal clips holding this panel in place snapped off, and t is a piece of tape in its place. I consider the pictures provided as an integral part of the condition report, so please examine them carefully. SHIPPING COSTS/TERMS SHIPS UPS/FedEx FOR $85.00 TO THE CONTINENTAL US.
