Fabulous old Italian Commedia Dell'Arte marionette made of handcarved, gessoed, and handpainted wood and with glass eyes, as shown, and now mounted on a custom wood stand. From a very outstanding Dallas estate and unconditionally guaranteed authentic and antique and I would definitely date him to the early 1800s. Your money (less shipping) cheerfully refunded with *no questions asked* if you buy him and don't agree that he is an early 19th century Italian marionette after you see him in person (but you aren't going to be disappointed and you aren't going to want to give him back). Excellent condition, as the pics show. T is a very small amount of finger damage and his smock is probably an old replacement (ca. 1900). Both of these are very minor issues, as the pics show, not detracting in the least. Otherwise, MINT with NO chips, scratches, overpainting, repairs, missing parts, or other problems. Stands upright and securely in his stand with no problems. Finally a very large and impressive piece, standing about 22" tall including his stand (please note that shipping is just a little high on this piece due to size).
