No overseas bids accepted on this auction. You are bidding on a nice old original un-molested example of a Model 042 Machinists chest as manufactured by H. Gerstner & Sons, Dayton O, USA. I am selling this neat chest for a good friend who obtained this from an elderly relative. Condition is nice with just the usual wear and tear you expect from something this old that was purpose used. It has a few scuffs and scratches overall and one stain from a cigarette (on top and nothing serious). Fortunately, none of the defects are serious and this could be refinished into a great decorator piece. The wood on each side has a separation or thin age crack which goes on a straight line upwards and could be easy fixed with care. Remember this is a very old original box. Also looks like it has a light stain on bottom of one side that has a look of dampness or moisture exposure at one time (pictured and nothing serious). The drawers are in great shape and all have green felt in each. The mirror is also in great shape with just a few marks in it (no cracks). All the latches and handles are in good shape also.
