* ONE-EYED KING STUDIOS * Yet another napkin ring scope from artist Danny Curry. Titled " Bali ", this scope also features napkin rings made from imported Water Buffalo bone. ( No animals were killed just for these bones; they are a by-product from animals that were consumed or exported for consumption. ) This scope has a very organic, tactile appeal. It comes with a complimenting stand. It is also " One of a Kind ". The fully turning, glass, oil-filled chamber is filled with lampworked glass beads, twists and filigrees in complimenting colors including lots of goldstone, turquoise and dichroic. The background is also a creamy, bone colored, off white and the image created is a two mirror, eight point mandala using high quality, front surface mirror assembled with precision. This kaleidoscope also has the dual magnification that I have been using. The eye-piece has the usual magnifier but the chamber is also capped by a magnifying lens ! The result is a large, brilliant image that has to seen, first-hand, to be appreciated. ( My camera can't capture the image with the eye-piece in place, so the images listed are still a single magnification taken without the eye-piece. However, these are the largest images I have ever seen in handheld scopes of this size and the reaction from viewers is wonder and amazement ! ) This scope measures read more
