this one is a beauty and it is guaranteed old, genuine and original. It is a cartoon or caricature Fido or Bonzo type art deco cast iron dog puppy doorstop, circa 1920 or so, and in very nice condition with no damage and the finish loss as shown in the pictures. It measures 5 and a half inches tall and weighs over 3 pounds. Beautiful smooth old cast iron with that feel and deep ruby red brown color that only comes from decades of age. It is finished in a black painted finish which has a lot of chipping and wear. Again, all original, guaranteed old, genuine and original. You can find this doorstop pictured and identified in the antique cast iron reference guide by Congdon-Martin called "Figurative Cast Iron".
