This very nice old set has excellent paint with very little wear except to the gold. This is the more white custard glass. The pitcher is 8.25" tall to the upper rim beside the spout. The hand-painted floral design is nearly perfect after all these years. T is a beaded loop around the bottom third of the pitcher. The upper rim is scalloped, and the gold remains in the inner most part of the scallop, but the upper rims are bare of gold. Close inspection of the smooth forward part of the upper rim, which did have gold originally, has very little remaining gold. This can be seen in the photo's. The bottom of the pitcher has an indented rayed flower. The handle is applied and has a little gold remnant on the upper parts of the handle w it is applied to the pitcher. The inner bottom of the pitcher has 3-4 straw marks, which is common in old glass.This is a nice heavy 4# pitcher. The pitcher has NO CHIPS, CRACKS, FLEA BITES or REPAIRS.

The tumblers have exceptional paint as well. Two of the 5 have vertical straw marks which have some color to them, but look like if you took a soft tooth brush to them, would clean out.
