Beautiful, Mother of Pearl,10MM mater beads, and 12MM pater beads, gorgeous and very hard to find rosary of this magnitude. The rosary I am told is very old, how old? I have no idea, I would venture to guess 80 or 90 years. But, only the original owner would know for sure. This rosary is 25" long, and weighs 109 grams. That is heavy for a rock crystal rosary, but this is a mother of pearl rosary, so it is much more valuable to find one of this weight. This is the most beautiful Mother of Pearl that I own in my collection. You can own it today with your bid. The crucifix is MOP 2 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide. It has a beautiful raised Corpus, and the cross is magnificent. The beads as I described above are very lovely. The first medal is St. Anne with Baby Mary, on the reverse is a Basilica and someone out t will probably know the building by the medal. It is probably the one erected in honor of St. Anne, the Virgin Mary's Mother. The medal in the middle of the rosary is a 4 way medal or a cross medal. It has Jesus on top the Blessed Virgin Mary at the bottom, St. Christopher on the right, and St. Joseph on the left. On the reverse of the cross is Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, and the Miraculous Medal. So this is also a scapular. The center piece is a heart, a mother of pearl one piece heart. If you look at the chain holding the rosary together, the links are larger then normal for the weight of the rosary. Good luck, and if you love the Mother of Pearl, you could not find a better rosary in my opinion. This one has everything. If I tried to find another one like it, I would be looking for a needle in a haystack. Good luck, and have fun bidding. :)
