This sepia-toned original photograph shows the charming scene of an old-time cabin in a Christmassy winter landscape. The detail is stunningly sharp and crisp, giving the photo an almost stage-like appearance. The serenity of the scene is amazing: you can almost hear the silence. The semi-matte finished photo is mounted on a card measuring 10" by 6 ½" with no white border. Someone has doodled on the back of the card, in both pencil and ink, in an old time hand. The condition of the photo is very good. T is glue residue across the top edge w, presumably, it was originally attached to a mat. The tonal gradation within the photo is subtle and rich. I see no signs of fading, no tears, no scratches, no chips. This is an excellent and entertaining original old landscape photo - and much more impressive in hand than in my scans of it. Shipping will cost $6.50 to the continental U.S. Ask about shipping costs to other locations, including Canada, as they are likely to be higher.
