Up do bid is this extremely rare tin and wood Dr Pepper Advertising clock. I can't even explain how rare, at least in these parts and the places I been, how hard this piece is to come across. The thind is IT Works!!! I don't know if it keeps good time or not. I just took a chance and plugged it in, and 5 minutes later it had move 5 minutes. This clock is out of the 1930's and is in some wonderful condition. I could not, nor could I find anything or anybody to know anything about this item. I could not find it in 3 good Advertising books. None have been on ebay. I dont know if this is the whole thing. It does not show any signs of being a prt of somthing. It remains as found except I cleaned the front so the colors would show their brightness. It says on a ribbon that runs across the bottom " DRINK A BITE TO EAT A 10, TWO AND FOUR. On the back the is a hole to hang it on the wall but it will stand on a counter also. On the back is printed "GENERAL ELECTRIC, ELECTRIC CLOCK, MODEL 8HA38, GENERAL ELECRTRIC CO., ASHLAND MASS, MAD IN USA". It has th UL in a circle and the is is for the back.
