VERY RARE Ancient Medieval Gold Bracelet
Red Center Stone - Two Turquoise Stones Magnificently Superb Ancient Craftsmanship From The Ancient Mahmud Ghazni Kingdom Circa:AD This is a Very Rare Ancient Medieval era Gold Bracelet from the Mahmud Ghazni Kingdom c971 - 1030AD. Bracelet has one Red Stone positioned in the center of a Gold Heart, and two Turquoise Stones positioned in the Center of Gold Flower Designs. All Stones are fully intact with no visible cracks or chips. This is a Very Rare , highly detailed, and heavily constructed ancient bracelet created from Gold and Silver. The variation of designs, patterns and skillful craftsmanship within this piece of Medieval artwork is astounding! The bracelet has a double hinged design using a stationary pin in one hinge, and a chained removable pin in the opposite hinge. By removing the chained pin, the bracelet opens for placement on the wearer's wrist. Placing the chained pin back into position within the hinge, locks the bracelet closed. Heart symbols were often used in this kingdom's jewelry as a symbolic display of their courage, and as Christians, for their love of Christ and God. This bracelet is a very rare, high end piece from my collection. It is heavy, very solid well made, and in absolute magnificent condition considering centuries with only expected wear. Much of the bracelet has been professionally cleaned to restore, and display it's original brilliance, beauty and detail. If the new owner so desires to polish the bracelet further, they may use moderate amounts of silver cream and a soft damp cloth, to further enhance the brilliant luster and beauty! The Bracelet has been chemically tested, and results are 100% gold positive when tested at 10k. Gold karat is less than 10k (between 6 to 8k), and the Bracelet is gold completely throughout, and not gold plated. In Medieval times they did not have the karat system when creating more solid and durable gold items which were generally a mixture of Gold, with a Silver and Bronze mix. This Bracelet was constructed from Gold and Silver only, and without Bronze. Without the bronze, items will not have a strong dominant gold tone such as those of high karat gold. This Bracelet has a very vivid gold tone, even without the bronze used to enhance the gold appearance. The level of gold tone dominance can vary depending on different lighting conditions. In florescent lighting, the gold tone is very dominant, in incandescent lighting, the gold tone may be less dominant. The displayed pictures were taken under florescent lighting. See the picture with a quarter in it. The gold tone in the Bracelet is very dominant to the quarter. The winner can also verify gold tone by placing a piece of silver next to the Bracelet. The gold tone level dominates quite vividly, or of course you may have the Bracelet professionally chemically tested with 10k acid for "lower karat gold value less than 10k". The level of gold tone gives this bracelet a very beautiful and uniquely powerful, brilliant appearance. I added a picture using incandescent lighting and not florescent lighting, as are the rest of the pictures. The quarter in the one picture inside of the bracelet under florescent lighting was meant for scale, but with lighting, and sitting inside of the bracelet surrounded by gold, it of course was picking up gold reflections due to the lighting, and causing the quarter to appear gold as well. Using incandescent lighting as requested by a potential bidder,"this was a quick set up and a non-professional picture", and placing the quarter outside of the bracelet, and against the front of the bracelet instead of inside of it, the difference is obvious. This Bracelet is 100% Guaranteed to be solid gold throughout the Bracelet as described, and not gold plated. Bracelet is 100% Guaranteed Authentic as described, or a FULL refund will be cheerfully issued.Weight: 53.6 Grams (Almost 2 Ounces of precious metal!) Material: Gold, Silver mix, 1 R...
