DESCRIPTION: A very rare & antique Japanese Banko teapot designed with various intertwined sea creatures (rockcod, herring, halibut..etc..), an eel and the lobster's antenna form the handle loops . Incised "Made in Japan" and artist's script underneath.SIZE: 4" 3/4H (to lid top) x 7"W (to spout end) x 6"D . CONDITION: Excellent: no crack, chip or fleabite except some faint discolorations & slight kiln flaws.
