is a very rare hot blast tin kerosene lantern embossed HAM'S NO. 0 GLASS FOUNT. The clear glass globe is in good condition, no cracks. It is embossed DIETZ FITZALL N.Y. U.S.A. and 10H - LOC NO 8 - REC'D IN U.S.A.. It is obviously not the original globe for this lantern. T is a glass font that is removed from the bottom. The bottom is marked PATENTED - JUNE 7, 1887 - SEPT. 16, 1890 - OCT 31, 1898. The glass is intact, but I have not been able to remove the bottom and I'm afraid of breaking the glass font so I will leave it for the next owner. The brass collar needs to be recemented to the glass font. I do not know if this collar and filler cap are original to the lantern. The lantern is 14" tall and the bail adds another 5".
