Up for auction, a very rare Merle W. Seguine, Juneau Alaska, drop point skinner from the early 60's. Seguine was a legendary knife maker working out of Juneau in the 60's. He passed away many years ago and anyone who knows knives knows this is a super rare find in this condition, or any other condition for that matter. I have only seen one other in my life and have never seen one on eBay for sale. It is quite likely that you will never see another. knife meassures 9-1/2 inches overall with a blade length of 5 inches, this knife is so sharp you can easily shave with it. The walnut handle is 4-1/2 inches long. Both knife and sheath are stamped "M.W Seguine Juneau, Alaska". The sheath is in extraordinary condition with virtually no wear or cuts and has a sharpening stone on board that has never been used, though the knife has been sharpened before, it was not sharpened with the stone it came with. It has some light corrosion on the sheath rivets, which is to be expected with a 50 year old knife. This is a rare opportunity to grab a legendary M.W. Seguine drop point skinner for your collection.
