This is an extremely rare variable condenser dating back to the time of Marconi. It appears in the Manhattan Supply Company catalog and is described as follows. This condenser has a minimum capacity of about .0005 M.F. and a maximum capacity of .003 M.F. The change of capacity is gradual. Fitted with graduated scale. This type is similar to that used by the Marconi Company for commercial work and gives excellent results. The brass cylinders are polished and gold lacqured; the ends are of polished hard rubber, and the base is of polished oak. A first-class instrument in every respect. In all my years of collecting this is the only one I have ever seen. Don't let this one get away, you will not be disappointed. Buyer to pay $8.00 for shipping, Careful packing and insurance.
