Hard-to-find cast iron bases of this type were used to hold advertising signs. This base was purchased originally at a Kirkwood, MO police auction. The base is in very good condition. It measures approx. 24" in diameter with a height about 2" (plus the pole connector shown). A great retro item that could be used as a classic table base or unique hall tree.
