I am guessing looking at these that they are just as they came from the Parker factory almost 100 years ago. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of history that I think it is pretty safe to say will only go up in value. This set consist of a fountain pen that has clearly never been used or inked. The band is still around the pen in perfect condition and reads, " To Fill: (1) Depress filler button (2) immerse entire gold point in ink (3) release the button (4) leave in ink for 10 seconds No. 122 Med. $5.00" The pen measures 4 1/2 inches. It has gold colored accents with 3 bands around the bottom of the cap. On the nib is written; "Parker Duofold Pen B". The accompanying pencil also appears to be completely pristine and spotless just as it would have the day it left the Parker factory. The pencil has a band on it that reads, " No. 192 Pencil $3.00". It measures 4 3/4 inches. Both pieces come in what looks to be their original box. The box is gray and has gold lettering that says Parker on both the outside and the inside. I think it is made of a heavy cardboard and has done a good job of keeping these pens safe for a long time. The whole set is really rather amazing to look at.
