RRP. $US3,300.00 DESCRIPTION:An exceptionally rare antique Chinese bowl glazed in a beautiful duck-egg blue Yingqing (Qingbai) glaze, dating to the Song dynasty (960 to 1127AD). This once had a hand-beaten silver band around the rim which although still evident has mostly worn away. Superb underglaze flower motifs are incised around the cavetto. Comes in a fitted box. If the combined cost of the item plus the postage/shipping exceeds $US500, then for the item to be insured, it must be sent by United Parcel Service. Items sent by United Parcel Service may be insured up to $US40,000. Otherwise, insurance is optional, and if goods are sent uninsured, they are at the buyer's risk.
