THIS IS A SEVEN DAY INTERNATIONAL AUCTION WITH RESERVE FOR A HIGHLY COLLECTABLE BRIAR PIPE. Please check our other beautiful Dunhills, Charatans, and Castellos. Also many other brands we will be listing. You will be bidding on a pristine and highly collectable PREBEN HOLM FREEFORM PIPE. PREBEN HOLM pipes are some of the most sought after DANISH pipes in the world using only the best "extra-extra" grade briar. PREBEN HOLM was the premier pipe maker of his day. At the ripe old age of 22 he employed nearly 45 people in the making of his pipes. He also made his pipes for Lane Limited under the Ben Wade name. Mr. Holm was probably the most influential pipe makers to come out of Denmark , AND STILL IS TODAY. Setting the standard for freeform pipes being made at that time. His pipes are Highly collectable pipes today for that reason. Pipes with a flare, awesome graining , meticulous finishes. This is a Tulip shape freeform with a hand cut ebonite stem. Super grain that you can see all around this pipe a terrific hand made pipe.. A great looking pipe . It is in PRISTINE condition , a Large pipe. Mr. Holm passed away many years ago but his legend will continue to live on if we can only continue to find such beauties as this. This is going to be a great smoker for somebody. The measurements for this pipe are: 7" Long , 2-1/2" Tall Appx.
