Vestment Red Gallican Chasuble 60"Long, Stole 49" Long lined Description: This is a unique chasuble. The Red cope-like, Gallican Chasuble is 60" long from the back collar edge to the bottom hem. It is in excellent condition. T are no tears, rips or worn areas. The material of the chasuble seems to be a strong, medium weight, textured cotton/polyester. The neck opening length of the chasuble is 12". The width of the chasuble adjusts to the shoulders of the wearer. The diameter of the bottom is 96" (8 ft.). The chasuble has a 1 1/2" wide panel of red velvet on the front. This front panel is outlined with gold braid. The three horizontal velvet panels that cross the vertical velvet panel are 11" long. The velour stole is 49" long from the center to the edge. The width varies from 9" at the shoulder to 6" at the bottom. T are three different horizontal velour lines: solid red, red and gold mixture and a striped red and gold section. The stole is lined with gold-colored polyester. T are no directions on the chasuble and stole for cleaning but it probably would be safer to dry-clean to "freshen-up" the vestment.
