Available at Auction: Traditional Five Piece Eucharistic Vestment set in the Gothic style, in Dark Royal Purple with interwoven Gold Cross accents. This Mass set has never before been used; tfore it is considered NEW, though t his Vestment set was a "custom work" that never was unboxed until yesterday. I have given the set a light pressing with a steam iron; it is clean only needs a good pressing before being put into use. This Mass set is from the estate of a now retired Clergyman, who had, in my humble estimation, Great Liturgical Taste! Perfect for use during the Lenten season, which begins with Ash Wednesday, February 21 st . Chasuble: Made with a Dark Purple & Gold Liturgical patterned fabric; the Chasuble is fully lined in rich Gold Satin. Both the Back and Front lengths, from neckline opening too bottom hem, are 44 inches with the Chasuble having a 54 inch width. The Orphrey banding is placed in the Traditional "Y" Arrangement on both the front and back of the Chasuble. The Orphrey banding which is 3 inches in width is from France , made of dark Purple, Gold and Brown Satin/Silk. Maniple: Made of the same rich Brocade Liturgical Fabric as the Chasuble and lined in the same Gold Satin fabric. The Full length of the Maniple is 39 inches from end too end. The end of each of the Maniple is decorated with 3 inch Tassels in alternating Purple and Gold. A Two inch accented embroidered Gold Cross is located at the center of the Maniple. Both sizes of the Maniple have the same Orphrey banding as the Chasuble, in the traditional placement. Stole: Made of the same Brocade Liturgical Fabric as the above and fully lined in same Gold Satin fabric. Full length is 95 inches from end too end. The ends of the Stole have alternating Purple and Gold Tassels which are 3 inches long. T is also a Two inch accented embroidered Gold Cross located at center of Stole. Both ends of the Stole have the same Orphrey banding as the Chasuble, placed in the traditional manner. Chalice Veil: Made of the same rich Dark Purple & Gold accented Liturgical Fabric and fully lined in Gold Satin. The Veil is 24 x 24 inches; matching Orphrey banding is placed on the center of the Veil, according to the traditional manner. Burse: Made of the same rich Brocade Liturgical Fabric, padded and trimmed in a rich Purple Cording along with being fully lined in Gold Satin. The Burse is 8 x 8 inches and has the same Orphrey banding placed at the center of the Burse in the traditional manner. Those bidding from outside the USA will have to pay via Paypal since this is the only feasible payment option. Payment must be made within 10 days of ending of auction; if not I consider myself released from the auction contract. Shipping Information: I normally ship by United States Postal system using Priority Mail. I do ship Media Mail rates on extra large size books and will send by UPS if you request such. All Shipment costs include the cost of boxes, packing materials, etc when they apply. You pay what it cost me to send the item, no more, no less!
