RARE ROMAN LITURGICAL VESTMENT

You are bidding on a beautiful Roman surplice / cotta.

Made out of traditional liturgical cotton fabric this surplice is adorned with simply wonderful (matching) IHS & CROSS motif LACE at the bottom and at the cuffs, as pictured.

Note the square collar opening and gatd front and back, typical of the Roman style of albs and surplices.

This surplice is in great condition. It does not appear to have been used much at all (note however that the previous owner's name appears inside the back collar).

THIS IS A TRULY BEAUTIFUL ITEM
