's another of several mixed vintage hunting knives or fixed blade knives we'll be listing this week. Not sure of the age of this one but seems to be of some vintage. It has markings Case XX and USA. The numbering is "323 - 6" on the other side of the blade at the base. The sheath with this is also marked Case XX. The sheath is very very nice, could use a little leather treatment to look it's best. The knife has slight signs of use, pretty much surface marks to the finish of the blade caused by normal use, very light. We turned the blade to the light to show pictures of both sides. Blade shows very little sign of use, edge does not appear to have been ground down very far if at all from it's original appearance. Overall, VG+ or better as used knives go, very nice. The knife is about 10.25+inches long, with blade about 5.75 inches long. On the back of the sheath someone at sometime wrote "15" very lightly. Grips are stacked leather, very tight, clean and neat showing little sign of use. That's about it, very nice knife. We'll start this Case knife and leather sheath set low so enjoy the auction. When packed the 2 pieces will weigh about 1 lb so we'll use USPS Parcel post service as the lowest cost postal service alternative to the domestic US buyer. We have no packing or handling charge.
