Subject Matter: Thisbeautiful old book details "The stories of One Hundred Operas with FiveHundred illustrations and descriptions of one thousand Victor Opera Records" .......it contains every operas possible of the era and well before, from Africana /Africaine, Aida right the way through the alphabet to die Zauberflote and Zaza. Each opera story is told in great detail and accompanied with black & white photographs/illustrations of the actors and actresses playing the various characters of the Operas from those good old days. This is a truly wonderful book for any Opera or theatre fan. Book Type: Hard back Book Condition: Very good, a little movement to spine, minor discolouration to couple of pages.
