Victor D Phonograph with early all brass horn Up for auction is this original Victor "D" Gramophone manufactured by The Victor Talking Machine Company circa 1903. This rear mount Victor D comes with a triple spring bevel gear motor and an round hole Exhibition Reproducer with original elbow. Cabinet is made of Oak. Original finish on the cabinet. The back Bracket is original and has very good pinstripping. Nickel is very good and original. All metal parts and wood are original. This horn has the original patina on it's 22" inch Diameter surface. This horn is early as indicated by the long throat just below w the petals start, and above the elbow. It is a substantial horn! The rivet is new and properly constructed w a copper center. This machine is from my personal collection. Tag on the bottom indicates 1902. Apologies for the picture of the tag. I can deliver to the NJ or CT shows in April and May respectively. Many have asked, the machine runs fine with the characteristic bevel motor noise. I added pictures of the motor. Still greasy in as found condition!
