Here I have for sale is a fantastic watercolour by the popular listed artist Victor Noble Rainbird 1888-1936 This watercolour and pencil drawing has been well executed with some "scratching out" To Highlight the group of sea gulls flying in the high windsThe picture is signed in full lower left hand side and titled "INCOMING TIDE" Lower right hand sideThe painting is framed and glazed and I believe this to be the original frame.The frame has been painted black over gold it has never been taken out of the frame it has a few scratches on the frame ,this I feel in commensurate with its ageThe water colour has captured the high winds wiping up the surf with large waves heading to wards the beach This is a fantastic watercolour,,,,, If i was to be critical I think there is a small dot in the sky which,, I think you could sort or live with,, I think its a small bit of foxing, Very Light in colourThe measurements of the frame is 40.5cm wide and the frame measures 30cm in heightThe painting measures 34.5cm wide and 24cm in height.This is a dramatic watercolour and pencil painting,,,, The gulls in the sky with a back drop against the cliffs is excellently done .This stormy sea, the waves its excellentVICTOR NOBLE RAINBIRD paintings sell over the £100 mark So grab a bargain please email me any questions below is a bit about the artist;- Victor
