VICTOR VICTROLA MODEL VV-V III PHONOGRAPH (OAK CASE)Up for auction is this beautiful phonograph manufactured by VICTOR. As you can see the case is solid oak and is one of the nicest cases I have seen. This would be an excellent addition to your collection.DESCRIPTION & CONDITION: Approximately 15 1/2" x 19 1/4" x 13 1/2" tall. Solid oak case is in excellent condition (Has a couple of light cup rings on the top w someone had set a cup. Also t are a couple of small spots of paint on the top, but I will leave these for the buyer to clean off). This case has very little dings or scratches. Handle operates smoothly, but t is one screw missing from the mounting plate. Manufactured by VICTOR TALKING MACHINE CO. Model VV-V III Serial number 136913 (This serial number should date this Victrola to 1920). The name on the arm says VICTROLA No. 2 Felt in good condition Comes with steel needles This phonograph cranks up smoothly and turns freely. When I put the needle on the record, it does slow down the record. It appears to need some adjustments (Maybe just the speed adjusted). I know nothing about Victrolas, so I will leave the adjustments up to the buyer. The last picture shows a part I am assuming is a spare part. This part was with the Victrola when I purchased it. I am not sure it even goes with this victrola, but I am including it with this auction. Because of the above mentioned items and adjustments, I am selling this Victor Victrola as is.
