THE VICTORIA HISTORY OF THE COUNTY OF SURREY. Edited by H E Malden Published by Archibald Constable & Co. 1902,1905, 1911, 1912. Vol1. Original red cloth with gilt decorated spine and front. Some water stain to front cover (see photo). Internally very good - slight marks to top corner of front endpaper where water stain has permeated. Vol2. Red cloth with quarter leather. Damp stain to bottom of front and rear covers (see photo). A lttle rubbing to raised bands on spine and quarter leather. Internally excellent. Vol3. Red cloth with quater leather. Scuffed and worn on spine. Front and rear covers good. Previous owner inscription on front half-title. Internally very good. Vol4. Red cloth. Gilt decor. Some damp marking to front ans spine (see photo). All 4 volumes have gilt top edge and despite damp/wear as mentioned are a handsome set. Please note. This is a heavy set (11.5 Kg) and will be sent by private courier. Cost £8 (UK only)
