This incredible ring is made of solid 14K Gold and has a huge amethyst with an incised flower and seed pearls! This is the most beautiful ring we have ever seen! It is simply breath-taking! The ring is in excellent condition with no damage or flaws to mention! This estate ring must have been cherished and well-cared for. The ring is a size 8.5 and weighs 10.3 grams. We researched this ring and found one a bit similar in the reference book, "Answers to Questions About Old Jewelry, Covers 1840-1950, by C. Jeanenne Bell, G.C." The ring we are referring to is on page 120, in the top row, 3rd photo. This ring is different because it has the black enameled mounting and no seed pearls, personally I think our ring is much prettier. The value given on the other ring is $1,500.00. The ring dates to 1860's. We are offering this rare Victorian Amethyst 14kt Gold Ring at less than half that value as a buy now.
