History Popular during Victorian times, lavalieres were ideally suited for soft clothing. These dainty pendants remained popular through the 1920s. This lavaliere most likely dates between 1890-1910. I have included picture of similarly designed lavaliere from this time period found in the Victorian Jewelry book. Description Not stamped but tasts at least 14k, but could be as high as 15k, gold content legalized in England in 1854. The chain is stamped 14k. The pendant itself looks almost rose gold in color, and consists of 3 open flowers, graduating in size and each centered with a raised prong set bright and clean diamond. The diamonds are 3point, 4 point and 5 point, for total size of about 0.12 ct. Wonderful feminine jewel from the past, offered to you at no reserve. Dimensions: The pendant is 1 inch long, not including the bail. The total length of the necklace is 9.5 inches. The necklace weighs 1.6 grams. Condition: Very Good. Cherished and well taken care of in the time past. No damage to the diamonds, original stones. When examined under loupe the center diamond may have been tightened or reset in the past.
