Beautiful old ring with an amazing natural round emerald. This pretty ring has great chased detail on the shoulders and four pointy prongs that hold a bright blue green emerald. The emerald has amazing sparkle, it is natural not synthetic, it is round cut ( pretty rare) and it is .86 carats, almost one carat. Under inspection with a magnifier glass I see a couple of small inclusions but for an emerald a type three gemstone this stone is pretty clean. It is exactly 0.86 points and it measures 6mm. The shank is thinned out in the back and remnants of the stamp "14k" remain but for security reasons it has also been acid tested to reveal it is solid 14k gold. The ring is a size 5.25 sizeable, weighs 1.5 grams .
