Vintage Victorian 1886 Scrapbook Album-50 Pastings! Back cover: "PAT. MARCH 1876" Front cover, inside inscription: "Christmas present Dec 25 1886" A large assortment (50 pastings) of cards attached to the pages with 1880-style mucilage. Some of the pages are loose, and the binding has come loose from the cover. The pages are all quite brittle. Contents includes: Greeting cards for Christmas and New Years Trade cards from the Woolson Spice Co. "Easter Greetings" Small Valentine "No. 6" showing a dove with a red ribbon inscribed "Be mine" Large die cut Valentine with lacy background and a poem on the inside; the outside says "Truly thine" and "Gratititude"; the poem is titled "Constancy" Die cut lace and embossed gold Valentine's day card with poem "Love and Friendship" Calling cards, some with silky thread trim, and one complex die cut calling card of a boot which folds away to reveal the caller's card Sunday School reward cards with various themes, including Easter, parables, and other Bible sayings. Small die cut images with Victorian figures of young children in endearing domestic scenes. Magazine cutouts of farm scenes, including barns, sheep, horses, and men threshing wheat.
