VICTORIAN Album c1885 NURSE IN UNIFORM 100 Photos Victorian leather photo album circa 1880's. Album is in very good condition with "buckle" clasps and bright gilt-edged pages. Some wear to edges and a few small tears to page edges. Measures 4.5 x 5.75 inches.
Antique item has 100 pages and 100 sepia-toned cabinet photos and tintypes of well-to-do looking men, women, and children in gorgeous period clothing. Has a special photo of a nurse in uniform posing with beakers (probably a graduation photo). Name: Mary Caldwell Averill. Other names written on backs of photos, as far as I can make out: Sunderland, Knepley, Rooney, Goodman, Robins, Rood, Bergstresser.
