Hi everybody! Gungirly's auctions have changed just a little bit so please read the fine print. Then check out my listings for the perfect little post holiday pick-me-up! Offered for auction is an unusual Victorian Era, figural lion / lioness or tiger bracelet. I've often seen these bracelets in the form of male lions, but this is the first tiger I've ever come across. He has tiny faux ruby cabochon eyes and his mouth is set with a sparkling rhinestone faux glass diamond. ALSO .... this amazing old bracelet has tiny seed pearls set in the sides and the teeth and claws are shiny silver, I was told they are marcasites, but I'm not sure. This bracelet is marked on either side of the hinge. Pat. on one side and HHC CO on the other side. Gold content is not marked but most of these old bracelets were gold filled or gold plated. This piece is in very good vintage condition with no damage. Clasp fastens securely. Has a nice patina and has not been cleaned or polished. It measures 7 1/2" around the inside diameter and measures a little over 1 1/8" wide at the center.
