This Victorian trunk is recently restored the steel and brass all round is polished and also the antique pine and beech runners.The trunk has a coat of sealer and finished in a lavender wax. The interior has had a coat of magnolia to brighten it up.Condition is good with all original fittings, as can be seen there are no handles and I should think there were once. There is no rot , decay or splits.There a few small patches of woodworm along the front edge which has been treated. The underside has a large steel plate and two pine runners which incorperate four small cast iron casters. The clasp to the brass lock is missing. Dimensions are width 88cm, depth 51cm and height 31cm.
